Talented Neo-soul star Maxwell recently took time out from promoting this excellent new album Black Summers Night to appear on the popular TV show Good Morning America. The sexy R&B star famous for his smooth soulful vocals; his incredible R&B songs and his stylish R&B music videos performed his beautiful comeback single “Pretty Wings” to the delight of the studio audience.

Maxwell also discussed his latest album Black Summers Night, why he has been away from the music spotlight for eight years and how it was his life experiences during this time that helped him create what some are calling a classic R&B album.

Maxwell`s fourth studio album Black Summers Night released on July 7th 2009 debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Album charts selling 316,000 copies in the process. The album`s most successful single was the delicious R&B ballad “Pretty Wings” which peaked at number 33 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The song was co-written by Maxwell and Hod David and has been called a classic R&B record.

To date Maxwell’s album Black Summers Night has sold over one million copies in the US alone.
