R&B superstar Chris Brown produced a show stopping performance with his excellent tribute to the late great King Of Pop Michael Jackson at the recent BET Awards ceremony. The talented R&B singer famous for his own incredible stage performances; his cool R&B songs and his stylish R&B music videos performed some of Jackson`s greatest hits including “Billie Jean”, “Remember The Time” and an emotional version of “Man In The Mirror”.
The emotional singer perhaps reflecting on the loss of his idol Michael Jackson and the difficult year he has been through had to pause for a moment during his emotional version of Man In The Mirror often singing through tears as he battled to complete the song. The studio audience was also touched by the sincerity of his performance prompting Michael Jackson`s own brother Jermaine Jackson to come out in defense of Chris Brown saying that we need to forgive him now and to allow him to move forward with his life.
After his Michael Jackson tribute performance Chris Brown received a standing ovation from the studio audience and clearly touched millions of viewers at home too. And this was a fitting reward for a truly great performance from Chris Brown who produced faultless and heartfelt performances for some of Michael Jackson`s best known songs.
On the music front Chris Brown is all set to release a brand new album entitled F.A.M.E in 2011. The album is rumored to feature collaborations with Hip hop star Drake, Pharrell Williams, Swizz Beatz, Polow Da Don and Kevin McCall who is set to feature on his hot single “Deuces”.
