Sexy US Rap star Trina has recently defended her new rap song "My bitches" which has been causing lots of controversy. The talented rap star famous for her provocative rhymes; her delicious rap songs and her cool rap & hip hop music videos says her new rap song "My Bitches" has been misinterpreted and it is actually about strong women.
Trina said: “My Bitches” came from one of those days where I was in the studio [with] a bunch of different friends. Some aren’t celebs so it’s regular girls that work 9 to 5. They have jobs. It’s a different life than the industry world and we were in the studio so I just starting thinking of medical assistants or somebody that’s working in a lawyer’s office and you just have a lot of independent women and to me it doesn’t matter what it is that you’re doing, but you’re doing it. I love that. That’s how the song came together. It’s just strong women who are focused, but people took the word out of context."
Trina added: "I just think other people need to find something to do with themselves instead of just taking everything and making it into a big issue. There’s so many more things to worry about in the world and the word bitch has been around before I was born and when I leave the earth it’s still gonna be around. It’s nothing we can do about it. I didn’t create the word. I just use it meaning that at the end of the day you’re a strong woman."
Trina`s latest single "My Bitches" is from her hugely popular album Amazin which has sold over half a million copies to date worldwide. The album released on May 4 2010 also features collaborations with Hip hop superstar Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Nicki Minaj and R&B stars Keri Hilson and Monica.
