Timbaland: I like to take risks with my music...

Legendary music producer Timbaland recently spoke about the fact that he likes to take risks with his music. The talented rap producer and artist famous for his collaborations with artists such as Justin Timberlake and Keri Hilson, for his cool R&B songs and his stylish R&B music videos said that he loves to experiment with different genres of music whilst in the studio creating new music.

Timbaland said: "I'm definitely a risk-taker with my music. I like to challenge the new sounds. If I can challenge whatever's out there, then I'm good.”

"My style is to take something unexpected and make it into a hit. That's what I do. I have ideas whirring around my head all the time.

"I listen to a lot of weird music. I go to India, yeah. I know Indian people. I know somebody in every culture. I go overseas and gather my sound."

Timbaland`s current album Shock Value II features collaborations with a diverse selection of artists including Justin Timberlake, JoJo, Drake, Miley Cyrus, Keri Hilson, Nelly Furtado and Katy Perry.
