Hip hop superstar T.I
T.I talks about about new album in first interview after leaving prison...
Hip hop superstar T.I currently celebrating his freedom after his release from prison revealed in his very first post prison interview his plans for the future including his thoughts on his upcoming album No Mercy and how it feels to be a free man again. The talented rap star famous for his cool rhymes, his delicious rap songs and his cool rap & hip hop music videos is also delighted to be able to spend some time again at home with his girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and his two sons.
T.I said: “I’m happy to be home. I feel better than I’ve ever felt. I learned a lot, grew a lot. Now, I think it’s time to put all that to good use.”
And despite rumors that T.I was writing new material in prison the Hip hop superstar said that was not the case and was just focused on serving his time and being released a free man again.
T.I said: “I didn’t write too much. People might have thought I was doing a lot of writing, but I didn’t write that much. I didn’t get a lot of time to. It was a lot of activity around me, so I really wasn’t motivated to create.”
And what about the rumors of an upcoming album entitled No Mercy? Is there any truth to these rumors? And if so what are his thoughts about this new album.
T.I confessed: “I am definitely planning on releasing a brand new album at the end of the year. I want to maintain the level of success I’ve been fortunate enough to do over and over again over the years. This album is different in many ways. I think that Paper Trail was a lot more about thoughts; this is more about feelings. This is significantly more aggressive, or at least at this period in production. Who knows? I can do 10 love songs tomorrow and change the direction. At this point, right now, it’s going hard. It’s going hard like classic T.I.”
T.I`s seventh studio album is rumored to be entitled No Mercy and is set to be released on December 7 2010. It is also rumored to contain collaborations with R&B star Chris Brown, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Kanye West and pop sensation Christina Aguilera too.
Look for a single thought to be the infectious collaboration with Chris Brown entitled Get Back Up to be released in November 2010.
