Is Rap star T.I about to lose a big endorsement?? Rap superstar T.I is facing big problems. Not only is he facing a possible return to prison after violating his probation terms with his recent arrest for narcotics possession but he also faces losing one of his most lucrative sponsorship deals with AXE. The rap superstar famous for his delicious rhymes; his cool rap songs and his even cooler rap & hip hop music videos only signed this endorsement with AXE earlier this year and it is rumored to contain a clause to terminate the endorsement should Hip hop star T.I generate any more negative press.
One AMX source recently said: “We are troubled by [T.I.'s] arrest” and will be “reviewing our promotional activities.”
It is also rumored that this big endorsement between rap superstar T.I and AXE only came to fruition after T.I promised to clean up his act after serving time for weapons possession. He has since been used by the company to promote many big events including the "One Night Only" concert series in NYC which also featured R&B superstars Mary J Blige and Keri Hilson.
No decision has been made yet and there is still no official confirmation with regards to what AXE will do but our sources tell us that they are not pleased with the negative publicity that T.I has generated for their company and they are in the process of reviewing their agreement with the rap superstar.
On the music front Hip hop superstar T.I is all set to return to the music spotlight with the release of his eighth studio album No Mercy set to be released on December 7 2010. This highly anticipated album is set to include collaborations wtih R&B superstar Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Drake, Eminem, Pharrell Williams, Kanye West and The-Dream, Look out for an appearance from pop sensation Christina Aguilera too on the title track.
Hip Hop superstar T.I is also set to release his hot collaboration with Chris Brown entitled Get Back Up with its stylish T.I music video too.
