Rihanna lands her first film role... Beautiful R&B singer Rihanna famous for her smash hit R&B songs and her stylish R&B music videos has landed her very first film role in the upcoming movie "Universal Battleship" which is motion picture based on the classic game of the same name.
The movie is set to be directed by Peter Berg who directed Hancock is also set to star True Blood`s Alexander Skarsgard and Taylor Kitsch. The movie centers around two brothers played by Alexander Skarsgard and Taylor Kitsch who set out to defend the world against alien invaders.
This movie role is Rihanna`s major film debut and she is already being tipped to become a huge success and to become a Hollywood movie star.
R&B star Rihanna is also busy recording new songs for her upcoming album entitled Loud. The album which is Rihanna`s fifth is set to be released on November 22 2010 and is set to feature collaborations with Hip hop superstar Eminem, Drake on the infectious R&B song “Whats My Name”, Nicki Minaj on the cool song “Raining Men” and her long time collaborators hit producers Stargate.
Look out for the singles “Only Girl (In The World)” and “Whats My Name” featuring rap star Drake to be released as future singles.
