Beautiful R&B star Ameriie
R&B star Amerie reveals her name change... Gorgeous R&B music star Amerie has recently announced that shes changing the way her name is spelled. So from now on if you see her name spelt with two I`s then this is not a typo but its the new spelling of her name. The beautiful singer famous for her energetic stage show, her smash hit R&B songs and her stylish R&B music videos is now officially known as Ameriie. And she has also announced that although the spelling is now different that you pronounce the name in exactly the same way.
The Grammy nominated singer is also currently in the studio working on the follow up to last years In Love & War album. The album which is set for a 2011 release date is said to be heading in a more dance direction for this album. And according to sources it is a major departure for the stylish R&B singer.
Ameriie said: “I’m still in the studio right now, so the best thing I can say is it’s a very international, worldly sound.”
More good news in her personal life Ameriie has announced that she has gotten engaged to her manager Lenny Nicholson. The happy couple are busy making plans for a beautiful ceremony in 2011.
So its official folks that Ameriie is now her official name.
