Hip hop star Nicki Minaj recently talked about how amazing it was to work with R&B star Rihanna. The sexy rap star famous for her slick rhymes, her delicious rap songs and her cool rap & hip hop music videos says that working with Rihanna on the song "Fly" from her debut album Pink Friday was really empowering.
Nicki Minaj also talked about how proud she was of Rihanna`s achievements becoming a global star especially since she is from a Carribean and has a similar path to success as her.
Nicki Minaj said: "I wanted to work with Rihanna for a long time. I'm very proud of her accomplishments, especially since she was born on an island like me."
"This song is a female empowerment song. But then again, it's not specific to just women. It speaks about flying, soaring high in the face of every single solitary adversity that comes your way."
Hip hop star Nicki Minaj also talks about her hot collaboration with long time friend and hip hop star Drake who she duetted with on her highly anticipated forthcoming album Pink Friday set to be released on November 22 2010.
Nicki Minaj said: "Oh yeah, 'Moment 4 Life' features Drake! I was really looking forward to our collaboration and it lived up to every one of my expectations."
Nicki Minaj`s debut album Pink Friday features collaborations with some of music biggest names including rap superstars Eminem, Drake, Kanye West, R&B star Rihanna and pop star Natasha Bedingfield. And has already spawned the hit singles "Massive Attack", the sultry love ballad "Right Thru Me" with its excellent rap music video and the infectious "Your Love".
