R&B star Ne-Yo to quit partying to be the perfect dad... R&B star Ne-Yo has recently spoken out about his delight at the prospect of becoming a father next year. The talented R&B singer and songwriter famous for his smooth R&B vocals, his smash hit R&B songs and his stylish R&B music videos also says that he will quit partying from now on so that he can focus on being the perfect father.
The talented R&B singer is thrilled at the prospect of becoming a father and is very much looking forward to the birth of his baby with his girlfriend Monyetta Shaw in January 2011 and so he says he will do everything he can to be a good father and a good partner to his girlfriend.
Ne-Yo says: "I want to improve my fitness (but) I really don't like the gym."
Ne-Yo continued: "I`m getting all my hard partying out of the way now. I want to get in shape as I am taking fatherhood seriously. I want to be around as much as I can and I have been turning down gigs to play New Year`s Eve for ungodly amounts of money. But you have to do these things as you cannot get back the birth of your first child".
On the music front R&B star Ne-Yo is currently out promoting his latest album Libra Scale which was released on November 22 2010. The album has already spawned the hit singles "Beautiful Monster", "Champagne Life" and the infectious R&B jam "One In A Million" which is accompanied by a sensational Ne-Yo music video. The album features hot collaborations with Hip hop star Fabolous and Ryan Leslie and the hot production team of Stargate responsible for most of Ne-Yo`s earlier hits.
Ne-Yo is also busy working on the next Beyonce album set to be released sometime in 2011. The talented singer and songwriter will be hoping to reproduce another hit record like "Irreplaceable" an earlier hit he wrote for Beyonce Knowles.
