It seems that congratulations are in order with the news that R&B star Ne-Yo and his lovely girlfriend Monyetta Shaw are expecting their first child together. The charismatic R&B singer famous for his smooth R&B vocals; his infectious R&B songs and his stylish R&B music videos is said to be delighted with the news and excited about becoming a father for the first time.
Ne-Yo said: “I am very excited about becoming a father for the first time. It really is a dream come true.”
Ne-Yo`s mom is also delighted about the news and the prospect of becoming a grandmother for the first time.
Loraine Smith said: 'She’s in her second trimester. And we are all looking forward to welcoming this baby into our family. We have embraced Monyetta and love her to death.'
On the music front R&B star Ne-Yo is all set to return to the music spotlight with the release of his fourth studio album Libra Scale set to be released on November 22 2010. The album is set to feature collaborations with Hip hop star Fabolous and long time collaborators hit producers Stargate.
Look out for the lead single rumored to be “Beautiful Monster” to be released later in the year.
