R&B star Monica has officially announced that she will be touring with fellow R&B star Trey Songz this summer as part of his Passion, Pain & Pleasure tour. The beautiful R&B singer famous for her number one selling single The Boy Is Mine with fellow R&B star Brandy; her smash hit R&B albums and her stylish R&B music videos is set to begin this tour on August 6th 2010 in Louisiana with the tour ending on September 17th 2010 in New York City`s Beacon Theatre.
Monica is also currently celebrating the huge success of her sixth studio album Still Standing which has received rave reviews and peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 Album charts selling 184,000 copies in the process. The album has since been certified gold and features collaborations with R&B star Ne-Yo, Bryan Michael Cox, Stargate, Jermaine Dupri, Jim Jonsin and Bei Maejor.
Monica`s latest album Still Standing has also spawned the hit singles “Everything To Me”, “Love All Over Me”, “Still Standing” and the infectious “Here I Am”.
R&B star Trey Songz meanwhile is coming fresh off Jay Z`s Blueprint 3 Tour where he is performing to huge audiences as part of an incredible show. He is also all set to release his new album Passion, Pain & Pleasure later in the year to coincide with this tour.
