Michelle Obama to honor Beyonce at awards event...

It has just been announced that the First Lady Michelle Obama will be appearing at the Billboard Music Awards to honor R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles who is receiving the Millennium Award on this prestigious occasion. The gorgeous R&B star famous for her classic R&B songs and stunning R&B music videos is being honored for her incredibly successful career which spans over a decade and includes 16 Grammy Awards and sales of 75 million records worldwide.

Billboard have also just announced that this star studded evening will feature messages from the First Lady Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder, Bono and Barbara Streisand who will all be saluting the incredible career of the woman many call the Queen Of R&B music.
R&B superstar Beyonce is also tipped to perform her excellent new single “Run The World (Girls)” which is the first single released from her highly anticipated fourth studio album “4” set to be released later in the year.

The Billboard Music Awards is set to air on Sunday 22 May 2011. The event will be taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
