R&B superstar Mary J Blige who is often called the Queen Of Hip hop Soul recently took time out from her busy schedule to head over to Angie Martinez`s Hot 97 Radio show to discuss her favorite current artists and her highly anticipated upcoming album. The R&B legend whose classic R&B songs and stunning R&B music videos have taken her to the top of the charts reveals she`s excited about this album which see`s her collaborating with several high profile artists.

Mary J Blige said: “We’ve been recording for a year now and I did not want to stop until I nailed it and got what I feel people wanted to hear from Mary J. Blige. … I actually targeted every single thing in life to show people that our journey continues. We continue to live, we continue to grow, but we grow through adversity, which is our best teacher.”

Music industry insiders who have heard some of the songs have said that this album is vintage Mary J Blige and have revealed that the legendary R&B singer is sounding better than ever.

Mary J Blige`s last studio album “Stronger With Each Tear” hit the stores in 2009 and spawned the high profile singles & R&B music videos “The One”, “I Am”, “Each Tear” and the final single released “We Got Hood Love” which features another stunning R&B music video.

Mary J Blige is hoping to release the first single from her upcoming disc “My Life II” in early 2012. She is also set shoot another high profile R&B music video for this single too.
