R&B star Mario hard at work on two new mixtapes...
R&B star Mario is rumored to be working on two new mixtapes. The first will be entitled “Live In Tokyo” from his incredible performance there a few weeks ago and the second will be the follow up to the mixtape “What The Games Been Missing Vol 1” which he recorded a while back.
A clearly excited Mario said hes looking forward to completing these mixtapes and getting them out for his fans.
Mario said: “The mixtapes are sounding great. And should be completed soon. It’s really something for my fans to say a big thank you for supporting me through the years.”
There is no information currently on a tracklisting for these mixtapes or when they will be released. But we are hoping to get official confirmation soon about a release date.
Mean while Mario`s latest album D.N.A released in September 2009 peaked at number 9 on the Billboard 200 Album charts and features collaborations with legendary R&B producer and songwriter Babyface, Sean Garrett, Stargate, Big Sean, Dre & Vidal, Bangladesh, Gucci Mane and Jim Jonsin and has already spawned the hit singles “Thinking About You” and “Breaking Up” featuring Sean Garrett and Gucci Mane.
Mario`s fifth studio album is set to be released sometime in 2011 and is said to feature a collaboration with R&B sensation Chris Brown and is also rumored to have a more dance feel.
