R&B superstar Mariah Carey has just announced that she has cancelled the release of her new album entitled Angels Advocate which was to be a newly remixed duets album with some of her favourite artists performing some of her favourite songs from her 2009 album Memoirs Of A Perfect Angel which peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 album charts.
The talented R&B singer known for her beautiful soulful voice, her amazing R&B songs and her stylish R&B music videos has released two promotional singles for this album which was set to be released on March 30th 2010 a beautiful ballad “Angels Cry” featuring R&B star Ne-Yo and “Up Out My Face” featuring rising rap star Nicki Minaj. But despite both promotional singles being released the decision has been made to shelve this album release indefinitely.
Rumor has it that Mariah Carey has now decided to focus on the release of a Christmas album entitled Merry Christmas II You which is a follow up to her hugely successful “Merry Christmas” album released in 1994 which spawned the smash hit single “All I Want For Christmas Is You”. Look for a release date of November 2nd 2010 for this disc.
