R&B superstar Mariah Carey a well behaved Diva...
Beautiful R&B star Mariah Carey seems to be always labelled a diva these days due to rumors about her endless personal demands, her late appearances and gossip about her backstage behaviour and so it was a pleasant surprise to discover a completely different side to Mariah Carey when we covered her recent concert at the Air Canada Centre on Tuesday night.
Despite Mariah Carey clearly suffering from a heavy cold the talented R&B singer still insisted on performing a fabulous concert which included all her old favourites such as “Always Be My Baby”, Honey and the beautiful melodic anthem “Hero”.
Mariah Carey said: "I have a little cold, so I'm dealing with it. I'm doing the best I can. So anyway, I'm really happy to be here. I'm not going to let a little cold stop me. If you don't mind, have mercy."
Mariah Carey added: "I couldn't wait for this show," she said of her Toronto stop. "I had a special feeling about it. And then I got a cold, and I was like, 'Why?' But it's okay. I'll pretend I don't have a cold."
Mariah Carey seemed inspired by the occasion and despite her obvious ill health she performed a stunning concert singing some of her best known songs to the delight of the concert audience. And as one fan remarked that night Mariah Carey truly is a well behaved Diva.
On the music front look out for Mariah Carey to release a Christmas album at the end of the year entitled Merry Christmas II You which will include collaborations with R&B producers Jermaine Dupri, Bryan Michael Cox and American Idol judge and hit producer Randy Jackson.
