Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon have a baby shower...

R&B superstar Mariah Carey and her handsome husband Nick Cannon celebrated the birth of their upcoming twins with a baby shower at the exclusive Conservatory Grill at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. The stylish couple greeted celebrity guests including American Idol Judge Randy Jackson at this star studded event where they were showered with expensive baby gifts by friends and family members.

Mariah Carey wrote on her blog afterwards: “Thank you so much to all who came to the baby shower last night and all who couldn’t be there but sent such beautiful presents and sweet messages!”

Mariah Carey is expected to give birth in March 2011 and have already planned to take some time off to spend with their children.

On the music front Mariah Carey`s thirteenth studio album Merry Christmas II You has just been certified Gold for sales of 500,000 copies. This excellent album features collaborations with R&B producers Jermaine Dupri, Bryan Michael Cox and American Idol judge and record producer Randy Jackson and a duet with her real life mom Opera trained Patricia Carey.
