Ludacris features Lil Kim, Eve, Monica and Eve on brand new CD...
Hip hop superstar Ludacris returns with a brand new album entitled Battle Of The Sexes which is set to be released on March 9 2010. The talented rap star known for his delicious rhymes, his classic rap songs and his cool rap & hip hop music videos is releasing his seventh studio album and its set to feature and all star cast and some of urban music`s biggest stars on this highly anticipated disc.
Ludacris said: “The whole premise of ‘Battle of the Sexes’ is I’m giving you both the male and the female perspective on one album. So I’m talking about women, I’m talking to women and women are talking back to me. It’s kind of filling the void of what I feel hip-hop needs right now because it’s more of a male-dominated industry. We need to give females a voice. We need to hear their side of the story when it comes to certain issues.”
Ludacris continued: “I can’t speak for everyone,” he said, “but I feel like women need to speak more to other women as opposed to trying to do the exact same thing that these male rappers are doing. I feel like the artist who displayed that the most in terms of relaying a woman’s feelings was Lauryn Hill, back in the day.”
Ludacris`s new album Battle Of The Sexes marks his tenth anniversary in the music business and features collaborations with R&B star Trey Songz, Monica, Nicki Minaj, Pharrell Williams and The Neptunes, Swizz Beatz, Gucci Mane, Ne-Yo and rap star Eve.
And it has already spawned the hit singles “How Low”, “My Chick Bad” featuring Nicki Minaj and “Sex Room” featuring Trey Songz and insiders are already tipping this album to return Ludacris to the top of the charts.
