Lil Wayne takes in WNBA finals...
Hip hop superstar Lil Wayne currently celebrating the huge success of his latest album “Tha Carter IV” which sold a whopping 963,000 copies in its first week of release took time out to head over to the Philips Arena in Atlanta to take in the game 3 of the WNBA finals between the Minnesota Lynx and the Atlanta Dream. The talented rap superstar famous for his cool rhymes; classic rap songs and stunning Lil Wayne music videos sported a blue Minnesota Lynx jersey and cut off shorts as he took in an enthralling game won by the victorious female basketball team the Minnesota Lynx.
Lil Wayne tweeted: “Way to go Lynx!!! Props to Angel & the Dream for playing so hard! Simone Maya & Bekka ball’d out!! Awesome game & awesome people in Atl.”
On the music front Lil Wayne`s excellent ninth studio album “Tha Carter IV” has now been certified Platinum with sales of one million copies. This incredible Lil Wayne album which features high profile collaborations with Drake, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Cory Gunz & Busta Rhymes has already spawned the hit singles & Lil Wayne music videos “6 ft 7 ft” featuring Cory Gunz, “John” featuring Rick Ross, the gorgeous third single “How To Love” and his current single “She Will” featuring Hip hop star Drake.
