Kim Kardashian files for divorce after 72 days...

Beautiful reality star Kim Kardashian who only got married on August 20 2011 has recently filed for divorce from husband Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage. The gorgeous reality star famous for her hit television programme “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” & “Kourtney & Kim Take New York” has cited “irreconcilable differences” for the breakdown of her marriage and despite the rumors insisted she married for love.

Kim Kardashian who was previously married to songwriter and producer Damon Thomas in 2000 issued a statement regarding her impending divorce:

Kim Kardashian said: "After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best."

The glamorous couple appeared to have the fairytale relationship getting engaged after a whirlwind relationship in May 2011 and marrying in a blaze of publicity on August 20 2011 in Montecito, California.
