Rock star Kid Rock has come out in defence of hip hop superstar T.I after the announcement that he was to serve a further 11 months in prison. The talented rap star famous for his dazzling rhymes; his delicious rap songs and his cool rap & hip hop music videos was recently sentenced to 11 more months in prison for breaking the terms of his probation after his arrest in West Hollywood in early September where he was found to be in possession of narcotics and in the company of a known felon Cortez "C-Rod" Thomas. T.I was also rumored to have failed a drugs test too.
Kid Rock says that T.I is a lovely guy and that he feels realy sorry for him and that he feels that another community service order might have been a better alternative for T.I rather then returning him to prison.
Kid Rock says: “It’s sad. He’s such a nice guy. It’s a tricky situation, but I feel bad for him. I understand someone’s gotta learn their lesson, and I know they gave him a chance, but there’s a better way his time could be utilized to help other people, something to help the community.”
Kid Rock continued: “Some of these jail things, I don’t agree with them, especially when you got so much horrid shit going on in the world.”
T.I and Kid Rock became friends recently when T.I guested on a track of Kid Rock`s latest album Born Free on a song entitled "Care".
Hip hop superstar T.I is all set to release his brand new album entitled No Mercy (formerly King Uncaged) on December 7 2010. This album is set to feature collaborations with hip hop superstar Eminem, Drake, Pharrell Williams and his hot production team The Neptunes plus R&B superstar Chris Brown, Keri Hilson, The-Dream, Trey Songz and pop sensation Christina Aguilera.
