Jay Z: Usher has the potential to be the new King Of Pop...

Hip hop superstar and rap legend Jay Z recently paid the ultimate tribute to R&B superstar Usher Raymond after watching his incredible Michael Jackson tribute performance at the recent Grammy Awards ceremony saying that he is has the potential to be the next King Of Pop and fill the shoes of the late great Michael Jackson.

The talented R&B singer famous for his incredible stage performances, his delicious R&B songs and his stunning R&B music videos performed a melody of The King Of Pop`s best known songs to the delight of the studio audience and after his sizzling performance Usher drew warm praise from Hip hop legend Jay Z.

Jay Z said: "I thought the Michael Jackson tribute was fantastic and I thought Usher was doing a magnificent job,"

"I think he's one of the guys that’s in line to, you know, fill those huge shoes. I don't wanna put that pressure on him, but I think he's one of the guys that are in line to do that."

Usher also joined stars such as the legendary Motown singer Smokey Robinson, Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion and Carrie Underwood to perform Jackson`s Earth Song to pay a final tribute to the greatest ever entertainer.

Michael Jackson`s two eldest children Prince Michael who is now 12 years old and Paris Katherine who is 11 also took to the stage to accept a Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of their father Michael Jackson.

On the music front Sony Music are planning to release a new Michael Jackson album entitled Michael in early December 2010. The album will include previously unreleased material and songs that Michael Jackson was working on prior to his untimely death. Producers such as Teddy Riley are rumored to be involved with artists such as Hip hop superstar 50 Cent, Akon and rock star Lenny Kravitz also set to feature.
