R&B star Jamie Foxx is all set to host the upcoming tribute concert to the late great King Of Pop on October 8 2011. The charismatic R&B singer famous for his smooth R&B songs and stunning R&B music videos is reportedly delighted to accept this role to host “Michael Forever – The Tribute Concert” which will feature some of the biggest stars in music performing some of Michael Jackson`s biggest songs.
Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Ne-Yo and Motown legend are just some of the big names set to perform at this prestigious tribute concert to Michael Jackson with other stars such as Kanye West, Jay Z and Chris Brown also invited to perform.
Beyonce Knowles who was set to perform via satellite from New York has reportedly pulled out of the concert after announcing the news that she is pregnant and expecting a baby with husband Jay Z.
Michael Jackson the legendary King Of Pop who still holds the world record of the most albums sold with his epic R&B album “Thriller” had a hugely successful career that spanned four decades and spawned several high profile hit singles & R&B music videos including “Billie Jean”, “Beat It”, “Wanna Be Startin Something”, “Rock With You”, “Don`t Stop Till You Get Enough” and “Human Nature”
Michael Jackson also featured as the lead singer of the Jackson 5 with brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Tito and saw their first four hit singles & R&B music videos “I Want You Back”, “ABC”, “The Love You Save” and “I`ll be There” hit the number one spot in the US.
The “Michael Forever – The Tribute Concert” is set to take place at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on October 8 2011.
