Ice Cube is planning to reunite with Dr Dre on new album...

Hip hop superstar Ice Cube has just announced that he is hoping to collaborate with Dr. Dre for his upcoming album I Am The West which is set to be released on September 28 2010. The talented rap stars used to belong to the legendary rap crew N.W.A and are now hoping to hook up again to complete some tracks for Ice Cube`s ninth studio album.

Ice Cube said: “Yeah I am hoping to hook up again with Dr. Dre to record some songs before the album is completed. He`s been real busy though recently finishing up his own Detox project but it’s something that we are working on. It’s just a question of finding the time”

Hip hop star Ice Cube`s upcoming album I Am The West is said to feature collaborations with DJ Quik, Bangladesh, Doughboy and Butch Cassidy. And although nothing is confirmed yet Ice Cube is still hoping to hook up with Dr. Dre before the album is completed.

Dr. Dre mean while is currently busy in the studio working on upcoming albums by Hip hop star The Game and his own highly anticipated album Detox which is set to be released in early 2011. Detox is said to feature some of the hottest rap stars in the game including rap legend and long time collaborator Snoop Dogg, R&B star Akon, Eminem, Drake, T.I, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and The Game.

Look out for a single entitled “Kush” featuring Hip hop legend Snoop Dogg and R&B star Akon to drop at the end of the year and then the album Detox to be released shortly afterwards.
