Ginuwine speaks about his problems with Timbaland...

R&B star Ginuwine recently spoke about his uneasy relationship with legendary producer Timbaland who produced his smash hit albums in the early part of his career. The sexy R&B singer known for his incredible stage performances, his delicious R&B songs and his stylish R&B music videos says that these days it is clear that Timbaland does not seem to want to work with him.

Ginuwine said: “Me and Tim were real close at one point. A lot of the times that I reached out, there were a bunch of excuses. I begged and pleaded with him because I felt a certain way but I was like, is it just a bad vibe that I’m picking up on? Maybe I’m bugging out, I don’t know. But it came out to be true and I still feel like he owes me an apology for that. The reason I’m pissed off at him now is because of what he did. I would’ve been cool and not bothered him if he would’ve said, ‘Nah, I’m too busy,’ or gave me the lame excuse like he’s been giving me. But don’t do it and then not do what you’re supposed to do [to promote the song].”

On a more positive note Ginuwine did have some good things to say about the impact that Timbaland has had on the music industry in general through his incredible production work.

Ginuwine said: “Timbaland`s music really spoke for itself as far and really was an incredible sound. Music was boring until he came out with that new sound. Back then, I would have described it as futuristic because it was something that had not been done and people jumped on it. If it wasn’t for him making that style as hot as it is, a lot of producers that’s out now maybe wouldn’t even be here.”

Some critics have compared the partnership between Ginuwine and hit producer Timbaland with the amazing partnership that Michael Jackson had with Quincy Jones and when you look at some of the incredible songs they did together like When Doves Cry, Holler and Pony it’s clear that they were a great partnership. Let’s hope that in the future that these two talented artists can put aside their differences and get back to making great music again.
