Eminem speaks about celebrity addictions and Brittany Murphy...

Rap superstar Eminem famous for his cool Rap & Hip hop music videos and even cooler rhymes recently spoke about the evils of the current celebrity culture. He said that it is a lot easier for celebrities to get prescriptions because of who they are and that there is a frightening amount of celebrities hooked on prescription drugs. Eminem who has spent years battling drug addiction himself went onto say how unhealthy the current celebrity culture is.

Eminem said: "When you are famous the doctor will kiss your ass because they love the celebrity" Eminem continued "Oh I can call up Eminem and get him on the phone right now. Hi Marshall how are you doing? Do you need that prescription right now?. There are doctors who will give you anything you want just because of who you are"

The rapper also spoke about actress Brittany Murphy who died recently and who starred with him on his 2002 film 8 Mile he said: "Its crazy when you see all of these things happening not just with Brittany Murphy but with all the people in music and acting in Hollywood. Famous people are overdosing at an alarming rate"
