Hip hop star Drake is all set to headline the upcoming Power 106 Cali Christmas concert next month. The Canadian born rap star famous for his dazzling rhymes; cool rap songs and stunning Drake music videos is set to wow fans with live performances of some of his greatest hits plus songs from his upcoming sophomore album “Take Care” set to be released on November 15 2011.
Other headlining acts on this exclusive concert include Hip hop stars Big Sean and J Cole who will be performing songs from their debut albums.
The concert will take place on Friday 16 December 2011 at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California with support acts YG, Audio Push, Bay Area artist Love Rance, and the Chi-Town Finest Breakers dance crew set to open this event.
On the music front Drake is set to release his highly anticipated sophomore album “Take Care” on November 15 2011. This highly anticipated disc is set to feature collaborations with Hip hop superstars Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Andre 3000, Rihanna, Stevie Wonder & rap sensation Nicki Minaj.
The album has already spawned two hit singles & Drake music videos; the cool first single “Headlines” and his latest single “Make Me Proud” featuring Nicki Minaj which is set to feature another stunning Drake music video.
Drake`s debut album “Thank Me Later” which hit the stores on June 15 2010 has now sold over 1.5 million copies in the US alone.
