Rap star Dr. Dre: I aim to release Detox by Christmas... Rap music legend Dr. Dre has revealed that he aims to finish his eagerly anticipated rap album Detox in time for Christmas. The long awaited album the follow up to his last studio album The Chronic 2001 has been in the works for over ten years will hopefully finally see the light of day around Christmas 2010. It is said to include collaborations with Eminem, 50 Cent, The Game, Snoop Dogg, Jay Z, Nas, Lil Wayne, Marsha Ambrosius and Scott Storch.
Dr. Dre revealed recently: “In a perfect world, you know I’m really trying to make Christmas, but we’ll see,” adding, “Something will definitely be out".
The rap legend has apparently been in the studioday and night trying to perfect this incredible album and added: “I’m actually working on it every day. I just have to make sure I don’t accomplish this word: Disappointment.”
Insiders are already suggesting that the lead single from this album will be entitled "Kush" and will be Dr. Dre`s cool collaboration with Hip hop superstar Snoop Dogg and R&B star Akon. According to further sources Dr. Dre already has a stunning rap music video planned for this single which should be released at the end of the year.
Sources are also predicting that Dr. Dre`s collaboration with Eminem entitled "I Need A Doctor" produced by Alex Da Kid is also set to be released as a single too.
