R&B star Christina Milian has spent the first few days of 2011 reflecting on the past twelve months and she says that shes finally ready to move on with her life after the heartache of her marriage ending in 2010. The gorgeous R&B singer famous for her infectious R&B songs and stylish R&B music videos says that despite the heartache she learned a lot about herself and relationships through this difficult time.
Christina Milian said: “I learned a lot about myself this year,” she explained. “I learned what I can handle. I learned how much I can take. I learned who I am and what I will accept for myself and my daughter.”
Christina Milian also talks about those infamous pictures of her former husband The-Dream and his personal assistant being intimate on vacation.
Christina Milian said: “I didn’t know anything. But looking back, my gut was telling me something was off. But I thought I could fix it."
“No matter what, you can’t change who you are. I know that now. I tried to be someone I wasn’t because I wanted my marriage to work. But ultimately, if it’s not working, it’s not working.”
R&B star Christina Milian and her hit producer husband The-Dream filed for divorce less than twelve months after getting married. The couple also have a beautiful daughter Violet Nash.
Christina Milian has recently announced that she`s heading back into the recording studio to work on some new material with an album planned for 2011.
