R&B star Beyonce Knowles and her husband Hip hop legend Jay Z have long been considered one of the most powerful couples in the music business but it seems now its official with both superstars appearing in the Forbes Magazine`s 100 Most Powerful Celebrities List.
The beautiful R&B singer famous for her bootyshaking dance moves; her delicious R&B songs and her stylish R&B music videos appears at number two on this prestigious list while her husband rap legend Jay Z is featured at number fifteen.
Other notable celebrities on this list include popular chat show host Oprah Winfrey who takes the number one spot with Angelina Jolie who was voted Most Powerful Person in 2009 way back at number eighteen. Lady Gaga is at number four with golf legend Tiger Woods at number five.
R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles has had a phenomenal year earning an estimated $87 million dollars last year alone.
Beyonce`s third studio album “I Am Sasha Fierce” released on November 14 2008 debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 Album charts and has since sold nearly 3 million copies to date.
Beyonce Knowles is also back in the studio with long time collaborators Ne-Yo and Jim Jonsin working on songs for her highly anticipated fourth studio album.
