Rap superstar 50 Cent talks Kelly Rowland and Baby By Me video...
Hip hop superstar 50 Cent currently gearing up for the release of his brand new album Before I Self Destruct set to be released on November 16 2009 recently talked about his upcoming single Baby By Me and the rap music video which accompanies it which is set to star Kelly Rowland as 50 Cent`s love interest.
50 Cent said: "I ran into Kelly at the Latin VMAs, which I attended to perform and I asked her if she would consider doing it," 50 explains. "You can't forget all the work she did with Destiny's Child. The difference between Kelly and Beyonce is the extreme focus they put on Beyonce to make sure she was completely right. Kelly wasn't held in the same regard, so, in order for her to mean anything to America, they'd have to match the marketing dollars spent on Beyonce. She never received the superstar treatment."
50 Cent`s fourth studio album Before I Self Destruct features collaborations with legendary rap producer and artist Dr. Dre, rap superstar Eminem, Lloyd Banks and R&B star Ne-Yo who is featured on the infectious rap jam “Baby By Me”. This album also spawned the hit single “Do You Think About Me”.
