Urban act N-Dubz has reportedly been dropped by their American record company Universal Def Jamrecently after reported conflicts with the band about the direction of their music. The talented urban group whose excellent songs & rap music videos took them to the top of the charts are reportedly disappointed with the decision about also philosophical about quitting the label.
Dappy said: 'They might say they've dropped us but we were never going to co-operate with them when they decided to change what we are.'
Dappy added: 'For them to say they dropped us makes me angry because we just didn't want to change who we are or what we do.”
The group who signed with Universal Music Group in 2010 in a blaze of publicity then saw label boss LA Reid departing shortly afterwards and are now set to focus on their UK fan base over the next few years.
Two of the group members Dappy and Fazer are reportedly preparing solo albums with Dappy`s single “No Regrets” with its cool rap music video already drawing praise from critics and fans alike.
While Fazer is reportedly enlisting several A list stars for his debut disc which is set to be released at the end of the year.
Look out for Fazer`s first single with a stunning rap music video to be released later in the year.
Tulisa Contostavlos is currently appearing as a judge on the hit show X-Factor alongside Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and US R&B star Kelly Rowland.
