Lisa Maffia has said that So Solid need a second chance in the music industry.
UK Grime music star Lisa Maffia from the hit group So Solid believes that the band deserves a second chance. The gorgeous UK Grime music star famous for her smooth R&B vocals; delicious R&B songs and stunning R&B music videos said the band have matured now and deserve a second chance at fame.
The band first found fame in 2001 with the release of their number one selling single "21 Seconds To Go" with its stunning UK Grime music video. The album itself entitled They Dont Know became a smash hit also spawning the hit singles "Oh No (Sentimental Things) (Remix)" , "They Dont Know" and "Haters". And now the band are back with a brand new single and are hoping for similar success the second time around.
Lisa Maffia said: "I believe in second chances, and I think it's a chance that So Solid needs. We're grown now. We were really young - 18, 19 - when we first started out.
"Not to say that excuses some of the mistakes that they made, but at the time, having all that money and power within the music industry, and having all that fame and being put on a pedestal, that went to children's heads.
"I'm pleased it's been so long in some ways, because now we can really prove our point that we're musicians, we love music, and this is what we can do."
Bandmate Neutrino added: "It's weird how it's picked up again. There's been a load of bookings come in over the last three or four months for me and Oxide.
"And everyone's been getting back together and thinking, 'Let's give this one more go'. I've just got a feeling - like the times are right."
Dwayne 'Megaman' Vincent agreed: "I reckon somethin' special is about to happen. It's like, 'Here's your opportunity again - tread carefully and choose your options wisely'."
