Jay Sean talks about working with Lil Wayne...

R&B star Jay Sean whose excellent single “Down” featuring Hip hop superstar Lil Wayne topped the US Billboard singles chart a few years back recently took time out to reflect upon his success and to talk about his collaborations with artists such as Lil Wayne and how it has helped his career. The talented London born R&B singer famous for his smooth R&B vocals; delicious R&B songs and stunning R&B music videos has also recently collaborated with R&B music legend Mary J Blige on his upcoming album too.

Jay Sean said: "I’ve been fortunate to work with artists that are at the top of their respective genres. That allowed me to learn from them and their success. Working with Lil Wayne, Mary J Blige, Sean Paul, Nicki Minaj and others has really helped me grow as an artist. Seeing how Wayne goes about his business, how humble and gracious Mary J was to me, how cool and down to earth Sean is, and how supremely talented Nicki is, first hand, only inspires me to be better.”

The likeable R&B singer is one of the few genuine success stories of UK urban artists who have made their way over to the US and still had chart success and with a brand new album on the way and the first single with a stunning R&B music video set to be released later in the year too it looks like this could be another big year for Jay Sean.

Jay Sean`s eagerly awaited fourth studio album “Freeze Time” is set to feature collaborations with Hip hop superstar Lil Wayne, Pitbull, Nicki Minaj and the Queen Of Hip hop Soul Mary J. Blige.
