Hip hop star Chipmunk is rumored to be working on his next studio album after reports surfaced of the London born rap star working with hit US music producers Sean Garrett & Polow Da Don on his recent stateside trip. The talented UK Hip hop sensation famous for his cool rap songs and his stunning Chipmunk music videos has also reportedly spent some time in the recording studio with Hip hop superstar T.I in what has been a very productive recent trip to the US.
The talented rap star who was recently dropped from Jive Records after its parent company Sony UK decided to shut the label is expected to sign a lucrative new recording contract in 2012. The star is then expected to release a brand new album, single and a stunning Chipmunk music video later in the year.
Chipmunk`s current studio album “Transition” was released on April 15 2011 debuting at number 10 on the Official UK Album charts selling 9,445 copies in its first week of release. The album which features high profile collaborations with US R&B superstars Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Keri Hilson and UK Grime music star Wretch 32.
The album also spawned the excellent singles & Chipmunk music videos “Flying High”, “Champion” featuring Chris Brown, “In The Air” featuring gorgeous US R&B star Keri Hilson and his final single release “Take Off” featuring Trey Songz.
