Chipmunk is a London born Hip hop artist famous for his dynamic stage performances, his instinctive rhymes, his hit singles and his cool Chipmunk music videos. Born Jahmaal Noel Fyffe in Tottenham, North London on November 26 1990, the rising rap sensation starting MC`ing at 14 years of age on the huge grime music scene in London. After become one of the hottest rappers on the grime scene Chipmunk performed his much hyped freestyle on Tim Westwood`s 1Xtra which was watched by over one million people on Youtube.com. In 2008 the talented teen sensation signed a lucrative recording deal with Sony Music UK which led to his highly anticipated debut album “I Am Chipmunk” being released on October 12 2009. This eagerly awaited disc featured several high profile collaborations with US R&B superstars Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Keri Hilson plus UK Grime music star Wretch 32. The debuted at number 10 on the Official UK Album charts selling 9,445 copies in its first week of release. The album also spawned the excellent singles & Chipmunk music videos “Flying High”, his epic collaboration with Chris Brown entitled “Champion”, “In The Air” with gorgeous R&B star Keri Hilson and his final single release “Take Off” featuring US R&B sensation Trey Songz which featured another stunning Chipmunk music video.
