Born a Capricorn to US and UK parents, Lexu$ was inspired by Soul & Hip Hop from both sides of the Atlantic from birth.. It's clear to see where his unique flow and sound are derived from, and refreshing to see how he manages to put everyday experiences of life into crafty, poetic, harmonized rhymes that any true wordsworth or poet would be proud of.

Writing began early on with the love of music in the form of poetry, but by the time he'd left high school at the age of 16 college and the guise of training for a "REAL" job took over, after 4 long years of succesful training as a chef, Lexu$ knew that he needed and wanted to get back to his music. This didn't go down at all well with so called friends and family who laughed at the propostorous idea. With the support of his younger sister Lex decided to jus go for it, or forever regret not giving it a shot..

To cut a long story short, after a year of media training, Lex went on to present his own show on local community radio, then the big time came over the next 3 years as he secured residencys as a resident dj in many big nighclubs and venues within the east of the country...He fast seemed to be becoming a very sought after comodity!

He's been spinning in and around East Anglia since 1999 alongside DJ Kante$. They started out at ICR fm in Ipswich, then went on to many bars & private functions/launch partys, which later extended to BBC Radio and many local club and bar residencies, plus many guest spots for promotions such as Atlantic Records, Virgin Records, Garage Nation, Red, Harmony, R&B Nation, KSK2, Venom, Diamond, Twice as Nice, Channel U, 1Xtra, Missile Sound, Phunky, Nuts Magazine Nites, FHM High Street Honeys, Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi and many, many more.
