His first album “I`m serious” on Arista bombed selling only 168,000 in the US and peaking at 98 on the Billboard charts. It was then that T.I formed Grand Hustle Entertainment which led him to a deal with Atlantic records. His next album Trap Muzik sold 109,000 copies in its first week. It spawned the T.I songs and T.I videos for “Be Easy” and “Rubberband Man” and at last T.I was on the road to stardom. More great T.I songs and T.I videos were to follow but this gave the public their first glimpse of a potential new Hip hop superstar. As “Urban Legend” spawned the classic T.I songs and classic T.I videos for “Bring em out”, “U don’t know me”. More classic T.I songs and T.I videos were to surface soon afterwards in the form of a collaboration with Destinys Child on the track “Soldier” also featuring Lil Wayne. More success was to follow in the shape of T.I`s fourth album “King” which spawned more classic T.I songs and T.I videos in the shape of “Top Back (remix)”, “What You Know”, “Live In The Sky” and “Ride with me”. The album sold 522,000 copies on its first week certifying a new Hip hop superstar was born.
