Brandy Norwood is a multi platinum selling R&B music artist famed for her classic R&B songs and stunning Brandy music videos. She signed her first recording contract in 1993 with Atlantic Records and then released her debut album entitled “Brandy” which spawned the classic Brandy songs “I Wanna Be Down”, “Baby” and “Best Friend” helping Brandy`s self titled debut album to sell more than two million copies in the US. Brandy’s music videos which were used to promote these singles were instant hits on MTV and so a new R&B teen sensation was born. The stunning Brandy music video was directed by Dave Meyers and was shot in California and is set in a futuristic world. Brandy`s brother singer Ray J and producer Rodney Jerkins also feature in the video. Brandy released her second studio album “Never Say Never” in June 1998 and it included the monster hit “The Boy Is Mine” featuring Monica which topped the US Billboard Charts for 11 weeks. More hit singles followed including the excellent Brandy song“ Top Of The World” with another great Brandy music video and the gorgeous ballad “Almost Doesn’t Count” helping Brandy`s sophomore album “Never Say Never” to sell 14 million copies worldwide. Brandy`s album “Never Say Never” also received no less than four Grammy awards including Record Of The Year for “The Boy Is Mine”. The video was directed by by Joseph Khan in April 1998 and shows Brandy and Monica having a relationship with the same guy played by Hollywood actor Mekhi Phifer and at the climax of the video they confront him. The video was nominated for two MTV Video Awards in 1998 Best R&B Video and Video Of The Year. Brandys third studio album “Full Moon” was released in February 2002 and it featured the worldwide smash single “What About Us” which featured another stylish Brandy music video directed by Dave Meyers. Brandy`s third studio album “Full Moon” debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Top 100 selling 160,000 copies in its first week. It also featured the radio friendly hit “It’s Not Worth it” notable because it has Michael Jackson on background vocals and was originally slated for his “Invincible” album. The second single to be released was the gorgeous title track “Full Moon” and it was the last single to feature a Brandy music video to support its release. This stylish beautiful video features Brandy reflecting upon a relationship set against a backdrop of an empty home. This gorgeous slow jam was featured on her “Never Say Never” album released in 1998. Brandys fourth studio album released in June 2004 was entitled “Afrodisiac” and this cool Brandy album featured collaborations with Hip hop super producer Timbaland who produced the majority of the album. The album debuted at number 3 on the billboard charts and its first single “Talk About Our Love” featuring Kanye West was a top ten hit in the UK and and also featured a stunning & stylish Brandy music video. Other singles released of this album including the excellent title track “Afrodisiac” and “Who Is She 2 U”. Brandy released her next studio album “Human” in 2008 and this excellent Brandy album spawned the hit single & Brandy music videos for “Right Here Departed” & “Long Distance “which was accompanied by another Brandy music video and gave Brandy her biggest hits since 2002`s single “What About Us”. The stylish colourful video was directed by Hype Williams and Hollywood star Donald Faison played her love interest.
