Kano is a critically acclaimed Hip hop artist and record producer from London famous for his cool rhymes; classic rap songs and incredible Kano music videos. Born Kane Brett Robinson, the talented teen rap sensation became one of the hottest stars on the London grime music scene as part of the N.A.S.T.Y. Crew. He released his debut solo album “Home Sweet Home” in 2004. The first single was the delicious rap anthem “P`s & Q`s” and this became a massive underground hit marking out Kano as a rising Star and one of the biggest names on the underground UK Hip hop music scene. His swagger, rhymes and the authenticity of Kano`s songs & Kano`s music videos would soon have the biggest UK music artists around clamouring to work with him. In 2005 Kano released his second single “Typical Me” from his debut album “Home Sweet Home. The single became a huge hit in the UK reaching 22 on Official UK Singles charts. This cool Kano song was accompanied by a typically cool Kano music video which was played in rotation on all the main urban video channels in the UK. More singles were to follow and more stunning Kano music videos too including “Remember Me” and “Nite Nite” helping Kano`s excellent debut album “Home Sweet Home” to become a critical and commercial success. US artists such as Buster Rhymes, Nas, Jay Z, and Chuck D of Public Enemy were also rumoured to have expressed favourable opinions of this album. It also sees him chillin with his beautiful sexy girlfriend too. Kano`s next studio album “London Town” was released in 2007. The first single was his delicious duet with Craig David entitled “This Is The Girl” which would give the talented London rap star his biggest chart success to date. A typically cool Kano music video was released to accompany this track and once again enabled it to become a huge urban hit. After the release of this album Kano toured the UK in support it. This tour also featured rising grime music star Tinchy Stryder who Kano was reportedly trying to help. The album eventually reached number 14 on the Official UK Album charts. This cool Kano music video was directed by Paul Minor and features Kano on his tour bus and him performing this excellent single with Craig David in the studio. This single would give Kano one of his biggest hits to date. Kano`s third studio album “140 Grime St” was released on September 29 2008. This excellent Kano album featured high profile collaborations with fellow UK rap stars Ghetto, Wiley & Skepta. The album spawned the excellent Kano songs & UK Grime music videos “Anywhere We Go” and the excellent “Aim For The Sky”. On August 30 2010 Kano released his fourth studio album “Method To Maadness”. This eagerly awaited Kano album featured duets with Ghetts and Wiley and spawned the cool Kano songs & UK Grime music videos “Get Wild”, “Upside” and the excellent “Spaceship”. The album debuted at number 45 on the Official UK Album charts and generally received positive reviews. Check out the cool Kano music video above for his hip hop jam "Hustler".
