Ciara born Ciara Princess Harris is a multi platinum selling recording artist famous for her Hip hop dance moves, hit R&B songs and classic Ciara music videos. Born in Atlanta Georgia with the help of Jazze Pha she signed a lucrative recording deal with La Face Records which led to her releasing her debut album “Goodies” in 2004 which spawned the hit Ciara songs and classic Ciara music videos for “Goodies”, “1, 2 Step” featuring Missy Elliot and “Oh” featuring Ludacris which both peaked at number 2 in the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The video also features football player Reggie Bush. With the success of “Goodies” Ciara released a DVD entitled “Goodies: The videos and more” which showcased some of Ciara`s music videos, some remixes plus two new songs. This DVD was certified platinum in the US. Ciaras second album was released in 2006 and was entitled “Ciara: The Evolution” and it spawned the hit Ciara songs and hit Ciara music videos for Ciara classics including “Like A Boy”, “Promise” and “Get Up”. This excellent Ciara album would give the star her first number one album. It debuted at number one on the Billboard Album charts selling 387,000 copies in its first week of release. The second single “Love, Sex and Magic” featuring Justin Timberlake became a worldwide smash and gave Ciara another top 10 hit in the US. The cool Ciara music video for this single was sensational and became a huge hit on BET. More Ciara songs & Ciara music videos were released including “Work” featuring Missy Elliot helping this album sell over 300,000 copies worldwide. This classic Ciara music video was directed by Benny Boom and filmed in Atlanta with guest appearances from B5, Lil Scrappy and of course Missy Elliot. Ciara returned to the music spotlight with her highly anticipated fourth studio album “Basic Instinct” which was released on December 10 2010 and this excellent album would see Ciara collaborate with some of the biggest stars in Hip hop and R&B music including R&B superstar Usher Raymond and Hip hop star Ludacris. The album also featured the considerable production talents of The-Dream & Tricky Stewart who produced the bulk of the album. The first Ciara song to be released was the hugely infectious single “Ride” featuring Ludacris which saw its excellent Ciara music video banned by BET Television for being too provocative. This stunning Ciara music video was directed by Diane Martel and shot on location in Los Angeles on March 30 2010. The video also features a cameo from Hip hop superstar Ludacris who performs a sizzling rap near the end of the video. This excellent Ciara music video became one of the most popular R&B music videos of the year and acted as a prelude to her upcoming album Basic Instinct which would eventually get a December 10 release date. Ciara then released more singles from “Basic Instinct” including the hugely infectious “Speechless” which featured another stunning Ciara music video and became the album`s second official single release. Other singles followed including “Gimmie Dat” which featured another incredible Ciara music video which became a firm favorite with her fans. This excellent R&B music video was directed by Melina and filmed on September 10 2010 on location in Los Angeles. This Ciara song “Gimmie Dat” became the last official single release from “Basic Instinct” which suffered from poor sales figures which left Ciara disagreeing with her record label Jive Records about the promotion of this disc.
